“Final Fantasy VII” received a new gameplay trailer during gamescom Opening Night Live.
The third and final entry in the “Final Fantasy VII” remake series sees hostile giants called Weapons arriving to save a world undergoing a crisis. But, unable to determine who’s a true threat, the Weapons ultimately cause mass destruction on anyone or anything who stands in their way. It’s up to Cloud and his friends to fend off the giants and save the world from Sephiroth.
Also revealed in the trailer are Chocobo mounts, a grappling hook and the new Summon Typhon and open-world exploration via parachute. Cloud and Tifa are also seen in their new FITS, which is a new system of “Final Fantasy VII Revelation” that introduces unique outfits with increased power and new abilities.

“Sesame Street: Friends & Fun” has released its first gameplay trailer.
The Big Block Party is almost here on Sesame Street, and it’s up to players to help residents like Elmo, Cookie Monster, Big Bird, Abby Cadabby, Grover and Tango prepare. Designed for preschool players and families, the game allows users to explore the neighborhood through educational experiences.
Each character offers unique activities across landmarks such as the Community Garden, Bandstand and Farm. Whether it’s cooking with Cookie Monster or helping Abby with magical tasks, players have more than 50 story activities and mini-games to explore.
“Sesame Street: Friends & Fun” releases Oct. 9 from Outright Games, in collaboration with Sesame Workshop.

Attention all Atari fans! Atari is bringing back 39 Atari 2600 titles on physical cartridges, including Pitfall!, River Raid and Kaboom.
Celebrating the reunion of Atari and Activision after nearly 50 years, the Atari x Activision Collection consists of three physical offerings.
The Standard Edition cartridges of a dozen popular titles will begin shipping in November for $34.99 each. Four Deluxe Box sets – Treasure, Speed, Secrets and Victory – expand the collection to 39 total games, with the first set shipping in late November and the rest to follow in Spring, Summer and Fall 2027. Each set will be sold via pre-order for $249.99. A Complete Collection, which includes all four Deluxe Sets and a to-be-announced collectible item, will be sold via pre-order for $999.96.

“The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” remastered is launching on Sept. 29, along with a new expansion, “Songs of the Past.”
The expansion will take players to the brand new realm of Letten — an idyllic land of rural tradition that hides a dark secret just below the surface. The remaster will bring upgrades and enhancements to visuals, performance, gameplay and more when it launches on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. It will also be available on Nintendo Switch 2 and Battle.net.
“Songs of the Past” launches in 2027 as a paid expansion for “The Witcher 3” on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. It is available to wishlist now across select platforms.
NEW RELEASES
Star Wars Zero Company, a single-player turn-based tactics game set in the twilight of the Clone Wars, is now available for PC via the EA app, Steam, and Epic Games Store, and PlayStation 5 and XBOX Series consoles.
In the new game, former Republic officer Hawks and Zero Company, a squad of unconventional professionals for hire, are recruited for an operation by Republic Intelligence. From ex-nobles to ex-cons, they now share one mission: stop the Infinite Coil, a Separatist-aligned cult, and their leader Kundri Fathom before the deadly Shadow Plague consumes the galaxy.
Players must strategically navigate tactical operations, investigations and other missions through the original story.
Star Wars Zero Company is now available in retail and digital storefronts for PC via the EA app, Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5 and XBOX Series consoles. The Digital Deluxe Edition, featuring unique cosmetic items inspired by the Clone Wars era, is available for $59.99 SRP on PC and SRP $69.99 on consoles. IN-GAME EVENTS
Snoop Dogg lent his likeness and voice to a new Elusive Target mission in “Hitman World of Assassination,” playable now through Sept. 26 free in-game and via the Free Demo.
The mission follows Agent 47 as he targets Dr. Cyrus Cane, whose cookie brand Morsizzles is set for a worldwide launch despite evidence linking it to several deaths during product testing. To stop the launch, Cane and the product must disappear. Agent 47 has the perfect opportunity to strike at a pre-launch party on Haven Island.
Snoop Dogg’s son, Cordell C. Broadus, joins him as a party guest in the game. The two are the first father-son duo to appear together in the franchise.
The Herbalist Pack, themed after the mission, is also available on all platforms. It includes permanent access to The Visionary two-level arcade contract, The Herbalist Assignment featuring Snoop Dogg and cosmetic items inspired by Snoop Dogg and the mission.
