Veteran Democratic strategist James Carville was slammed for disgustingly comparing Michigan Dem Rep. Haley Stevens to a “used condom” after she endorsed Republican Senate candidate Mike Rogers over lefty candidate Abdul El-Sayed.

Carville said Stevens wasn’t even worth a used condom to Democrats after she broke with the party days before Election Day and sold her soul to the GOP for “two cheeseburgers” in his vulgar remarks Sunday.

“But your political career is over … if you think that these Republicans are gonna treat you as anything other than what they view you as, and that is, let me just break the news to you: a used condom,” Carville said Sunday in an episode of the podcast, Politicon.

“The Democrats don’t even think you’re worth a used condom, but that’s about where you are,” said Carville, 82.

The longtime Dem strategist ended the rant by saying that Stevens should look into opening a cheeseburger restaurant with Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA), who similarly crosses his party’s lines.

Carville was fired up after Stevens endorsed Rogers two days before the midterm election, following a public falling-out with El-Sayed, the Democratic nominee, whom she lost to by 1 percentage point.

The Dem strategist’s stomach-turning comments sparked backlash among Republicans on social media as clips surfaced online.

“Never seen anything like the anti-woman crash out going on rn. Wow,” wrote conservative political commentator and strategist Scott Jennings on X.

“Where is GRAHAM PLATNER when we need him? This old bag of bones needs to be put away,” wrote actor Michael Rappaport.

“Questioning her motives is fair game. But the sexist vitriol she is receiving for endorsing the wrong candidate is disgusting,” one user said.

Meanwhile, top Democrats raged against Stevens for her last-minute endorsement of Rogers in the high-stakes Michigan Senate race on Tuesday.

“Mike Rogers is Donald Trump’s handpicked candidate for Senate, a rubber stamp for Trump’s toxic agenda, and a corrupt politician looking out only for himself,” Michigan Democratic Party chairman Curtis Hertel said in a statement.

“The Michigan Democratic Party stands united and fully behind Abdul El-Sayed, a proven, committed fighter for Michigan’s working families,” Hertel said.

“Haley Stevens’ decision to campaign with Rogers- a man who has repeatedly sold out Michigan’s working class, wants to pass a national abortion ban, and has pledged to be a loyal vote for Trump’s agenda-shows that she has abandoned everything she claims to care about. We reject the attempts by Stevens and bad-faith actors to divide our party.”

El-Sayed currently leads Rogers by 4 points in polling, according to RealClearPolitics. Rogers’ campaign says his internal polling shows the Republican ahead.
