Katseye has dropped out of Olivia Rodrigo’s Daisy Chain Fields Festival slated to take place in Irvine, California, this Saturday, citing member Megan Skiendiel’s ankle injury as the reason for their absence.

In a note posted to their social media accounts, the group expressed regret about having to back out of the event at the last minute. “We’re so incredibly sorry to share that we are unable to perform at Daisy Chain Fields this Saturday,” reads the message. “Megan sprained her ankle yesterday during tour rehearsal and after being evaluated by doctors, she has been advised to stay off it and allow it to properly heal so we can be ready for our upcoming tour.”

The note continued by explaining that it “breaks our hearts to disappoint anyone who made plans to be there. We were especially excited for Daisy Chain Fields because it’s not just about music, but the greater mission of joy and community. We’re sending all our love to Olivia and to all of the incredible artists, non-profit organizations and volunteers who have given their time to make this day so special. It’s going to be such an amazing day, and we can’t wait to see everyone out on tour.”

Katseye was slated to take the Dandelion Stage at 2:15 p.m. between performances from Santigold and Mitski. Daisy Chain Fields released an updated schedule showing that Santigold replaced the slot previously held by Katseye.

It’s unclear how Skindiel’s injury may affect Katseye’s upcoming “Wildworld” tour, which kicks off in Dublin on September 1. The group, which recently earned its first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 with “Wild,” is slated to perform in the U.K. and Europe through mid-September before heading to North America in October.
